Neighborhood InfoThe Village of Rhinebeck is just up the road; there you will find many restaurants and boutiques. For cultural activities the Rhinebeck Performing Arts Center and Upstate Film- which is a great place for independent films. Just a few miles away in Red Hook you will find the well known Richard B. Fisher Center. 6 Long Dock is within walking distance of Scenic River Road, here too you will find Poet's walk a park operated by Scenic Hudson. On River Road there are many mansions along the Hudson River, Montgomery Place is one that is open to the public. This 300 year old house is also close to the Amtrak Station in Rhinecliff as well as the Rhinecliff Hotel were you can dine, listen to music and watch the sun set over the Hudson River. You can also go down to the dock and watch the boats go by. There is much to do in the area, you will also find golf courses and a Tennis Club right in Rhinebeck The Dutchess County Fairgrounds in Rhinebeck is also buzzing with various events, carshows, Craft fair, Green Show, Wine Festival and the well known Dutchess County Fair schedule for late August, Here are a few of the restaurants I personally reviewed
