The city of Simi Valley is
located in the Southeast corner of Ventura County
in Southern California with approximately 127,000 residents and a variety of
businesses, restaurants, shopping centers, schools and recreation facilities.
Simi Valley is also well-known for being the home of the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library. According to
crime statistics by the FBI in 2013, Simi Valley is the seventh-safest city in
the U.S. with a population of 100,000 or more.

entertainment as well as community involvement opportunities. The Simi Valley Senior Center offers a
wide variety of activities, exercise classes, excursions and more! There is a
wonderful Simi Valley Public Library located near Lemon Park where
you will find barbecues, softball diamond, tennis courts, pickle
ball courts, basketball courts, a tot lot, bocce ball courts, fitness equipment
area, covered and uncovered picnic tables, a pre-teen play area, and a water
fun.

in Simi Valley include the former Corriganville Movie Ranch and its Fort Apache film set, now Corriganville
Regional Park, in the Santa Susana
Knolls.
Many television series were filmed there during the 1950s, such as Richard Carlson's Mackenzie's
Raiders though that program was set at the former Fort Clark near Brackettville. Other areas of filming includes Big Sky Ranch, where
the Little House on the Prairie was filmed, Poltergeist was
filmed on Roxbury Street, and Welcome Danger (1929)
and numerous others in Santa Susana.
