1.  What compelled you to buy THIS house?

We really loved the layout.  We liked having the large space upstairs. We appreciated that it didn't have a lot of  rentals on our block. We wanted a house in south Minneapolis that was close to the things we like to do.  We also commute by bike and wanted a place close to the greenway.  It is also a short walk to the light rail but far enough that you don't hear it. Close to downtown too!

2.  What is it about this house that makes it better than other homes?  What can other homes not match?

We love the character of our house.  It feels charming and sunny.  It had a great bathroom that fits the age of the house and a fun kitchen with room to entertain.  Our house also has crib appeal.  Our block has great neighbors too. People have lived here for a while. Lots of sweet little children on our block. I have also loved gardening in the backyard.

3.  What unique activities did you do in this house?

Before our son, our band played downstairs.  We also have a workshop in the basement.  Raising our adorable boy has been great! Having dinner parties and BBQs.

4.  What have been your favorite activities to do / places to visit in the neighborhood and surrounding areas?

Bike rides on the greenway or to friends who live nearby, strollers  jogs or walks to Mayday cafe and Sister Sludge. Walks around Lake Nokomis and Powderhorn Park.

5.  What do people say when they come here to visit you?

This place is so cute and unique.  It is more spacious than it looks from the outside. The backyard patio is so amazing and peaceful.  A little oasis!
