Just across on South Boulevard is Carolina Pavilion with an additional one million square feet of shopping.

Not to be overlooked are the Ballantyne shopping and recreational options, including the Stonecrest, Blakeney, and Ballantyne Village shopping centers, which also include fine and casual dining options. Pineville Lake Park has picnic facilities, tennis courts, fishing, and a performance stage that often features movies, concerts, and other entertainment. Baseball and softball games abound in season at the Jack D Hughes Memorial Park.

A thriving medical community has also evolved in Pineville. Carolinas HealthCare System operates CMC-Pineville, a major medical facility. Numerous medical practices have branches along Park Road, as well as in Ballantyne Corporate Park, to serve Pineville and south Charlotte residents. An urgent care facility in Ballantyne is less than five minutes away, as well.
