Bridlestone is home to
approximately 177 residential homes situated on 70 acres just off Old Lancaster
Highway, providing everything one would want in a community: friendly
neighbors, safety, convenience to a major metropolitan center (Charlotte) and
an international airport, as well as proximity to primary local roads and
interstates (I-77, I-85, Hwy 521, I-485). The Blue Lynx light rail train
line with its direct route through the south side of Charlotte into Uptown is
minutes away.
Located
in Pineville, North Carolina, Bridlestone’s prime suburban location allows its
residents to enjoy living in a quiet and safe neighborhood, while providing
easy access to everything Charlotte has to offer: professional sports, golf,
shopping, fine dining, theatre, night life.
Bridlestone
and Pineville are located just two hours from the beautiful Blue Ridge
Mountains, just over three hours from Atlantic Ocean beaches, and some of the
world’s best golf courses.
Pineville
offers a charming small-town atmosphere in an affordable south Charlotte
location on the border of Charlotte’s upscale Ballantyne area. It is
20-30 minutes south of South Park and Uptown Charlotte and is surrounded
by Ballantyne and Matthews to the east, and Fort Mill, SC to the south.
The
Town of Pineville has done a wonderful job preserving its historic downtown,
while embracing growth in the surrounding areas. Although it is best known for
the antique shops and restaurants lining its Main Street, Pineville has also
seen a boom in commercial development in recent years and is home to several
hotels and many of Charlotte region’s major shopping centers.
Carolina
Place, a two-story mall includes major department stores and some 140 specialty
shops. Across the street from Carolina Place Mall is The Centrum shopping
center, which includes a Home Depot. Just across on South Boulevard is Carolina
Pavilion with an additional one million square feet of shopping.
Not
to be overlooked are the Ballantyne shopping and recreational options,
including the Stonecrest, Blakeney, and Ballantyne Village shopping centers,
which also include fine and casual dining options. The 67,000 square foot
Morrison YMCA is minutes away. The world-class Ballantyne Resort & Spa with
its public Ballantyne Golf Course are virtually around the corner.
Pineville
offers a myriad of outdoor activities. For walking or biking, there are
McMullen Creek and Lower McAlpine Creek greenways, which have miles of trails
and a boardwalk with a wetland observation deck. Pineville’s Belle Johnston
Community Center features racquetball, basketball courts, a walking track, and
craft classes. Pineville Lake Park has picnic facilities, tennis courts,
fishing, and a performance stage that often features movies, concerts, and
other entertainment. Baseball and softball games abound in season at the Jack D
Hughes Memorial Park.
A
thriving medical community has also evolved in Pineville. Carolinas HealthCare
System operates CMC-Pineville, a major medical facility. Numerous medical
practices have branches along Park Road, as well as in Ballantyne Corporate
Park, to serve Pineville and south Charlotte residents. An urgent care facility
in Ballantyne is less than five minutes away, as well.
