What is Your Sanford Mill Condo Worth?
When this condo is sold, it will affect YOUR Condos Value!
A Couple of Questions I posed to the Owner at 14 Sanford Street in Medway....
What made you buy the property when you purchased?
I was looking for a condo in the area and after I saw just one unit in the Mill, I knew I had to live there. Many of the complexes that I looked at were cooking-cutter, box style, condos with no personality. No other complex compared to the charm and unique character of the units in the Mill. I loved the large windows, the exposed brick and beams, and the open living concept. The condo that I ended up in was contemporary in style and felt like city-living in the suburbs.
What did you enjoy most about the property?
I always felt safe there and in the surrounding area. I'm an avid runner and it was a must that I could feel safe to go out and run for an hour in any direction without worry. I loved the exposed brick and charm, like I mentioned above, of the inside of the unit. Once I was IN my unit, it always felt like home. While all the neighbors were friendly and helpful, no one bothered me, and I liked to entertain. I think that's one of the benefits to the top unit too...you don't hear people above you (or below, in truth) AND your living space is separate from your entertaining space, not all on the same. floor. I think the two floors makes the space feel a lot bigger than it is. Oh yeah, and the laundry upstairs too..definitely a plus. (And a new hot water heater...replaced in 2012. Lastly, the outside property was always well manicured, which made is nice to come home to neat and clean property.
What things are really neat that someone would not realize at first pass?
Hmmm, this one is kind of tough, because what you see is sort of what you get. The closet under the stairs is actually huge! You can stand up inside of it, so there is LOT of storage there. There is central air, which is always nice in the humid days of summer. You have access to the river, so that is a plus for people that might like to fish...my husband did that a bit. I would assume you could also drop in a kayak there, but obviously could only go away from the falls!
