Welcome to the Snyder Family Farm! Our family comes from a long line of original farmers in the Northern IL. Town of of Paw Paw in the early 1900s.Snyder Road was named for our family that built it.
Through the years it has seen a few ups and downs, including a fire that destroyed the family home, but part of the home and foundation still stands today. But even through the decades, this farm has always maintained good quality production soil, a generous crop of corn and soy, and has been continually cultivated & well taken care of by long-time cash rent farming colleagues of the family since the early 1960s.
Our farm parcel is conveniently located to I-39 and just south of Rt. 30, in section 29 of the Willow Creek Township, Lee County, Illinois. The 92 tillable acres areas of the farm have a Productivity Index (PI) average of 129, with the predominant soils of Caitlin and Wyanet Silt Loam. The farm parcel also includes wooded acres of 23.07 +/- and 2.25 acres of road access.
A small stream also runs through the wooded acres, making it ideal for potential recreational income as well.
The farm parcel’s eastern boundary is Germantown Rd., Snyder Road is the Northern Boundary with Steward Road just to the west.
