According to Mr. Zach Schwager, an associate planner at Louisville/Jefferson County Planning and Design (502-574-8454), additional condos may be built on this site. He indicated that Charleswood is classified as Category 2A Development Plan, and so would be submitted to the Office of Construction Review and not to Louisville/Jefferson County Planning and Design Services (as would the larger Catagory 2B and 3 plans). Additionally, there will be no initial square footage restrictions. Current zoning is OR-2 - see Ordinance copy in photos section of this website. Mr Schwager he stated that the existing population density of the area does support an additional 6-plex.

After submission for approval The Office of Contract Review may decide that other governmental agencies need to review the proposed expansion, in which case it would be submitted to those agencies.
