DEER LAKE RETIREMENT COMMUNITY OVERVIEW

Deer Lake Retirement Community is a Retirement Condominium Community providing independent senior condo living in Bellevue Nashville TN 37221.

Deer Lake has 135 Condos consisting of 101 2 Bedroom Condos and 34 1 Bedroom Condos. The complex was built as a retirement community and is managed by The Tennessee Baptist Adult Homes which is affiliated with the Tennessee Baptist Convention. Construction of the condominium complex took place from 1977 through 1984. Most of the condos are brick and siding construction. Many of the condos have either decks, covered decks/patios, or screened porches. Most of the units have large covered front porches. Several of the condos back up to Deer Lake.

Deer Lake Retirement Community, features Deer Lake, Walking Trails, a Community Activities Center, an on-site Property Manager, many Senior events and Activities, and more. There is a 3000 sf Activities Center which has recently been renovated and updated. It is open from 8 am to 4 pm for residents. It is also available for after hours events for residents.

The Center is equipped with two motel style Apartments. Each unit is fully furnished with full baths and cable. These units are for temporary use by guests and family members of the residents. There is a fee to rent these units.

On the main level, is the Property Manager's Office. There are Laundry Facilities for the residents and it is equipped with two New Washers and Dryers along with a Folding Table. Also there is a Large Meeting Room with a Kitchenette and Bath.

On the second floor of the center is a large well-stocked Library TV Room. There is another large Meeting Room for activities that is equipped with a Kitchenette and Baths. Additionally, there are two rooms for Meetings or use as Office Space equipped with desks and phones.

Most every week, one night a week, residents have pot luck dinners at the Deer Lake Activities Center. There is a Bible Study group every Thursday morning. Once a month, the Center also has organized tours to local and out-of-state destinations of interest.

Deer Lake Condominiums are located in West Nashville, Davidson County, at the corner of Highway 70 south and Hicks road in Bellevue Nashville TN 37221. It is just west of the intersection of Hwy. 70S and Old Hickory Blvd. and is just minutes to Interstate 40.
