From Zin Bistro, Cheekys, Sammy G's, Tinto to Rio Azul  and a revamped Kaiser Grill plus the recently redone Saguaro Hotel (formerly the Holiday Inn) .  The city has passed a new Tax measure to support a project to redevelop the old Palm Springs Fashion Plaza Mall and opening up a street leading to the front of the Palm Springs Art Museum.  This work is already underway as the old BOA building at Tahquitz has been demolished. The Marilyn Monroe statue has taken up residence in that space. The Morrison townhomes are finishing up a major construction phase and there is a newly opened Eisenhower medical facility at Sunrise and Tahquitz.

We can't forget Copley's & Hamburger Marys which came to town a few years ago.  The popular Koffi expanded to South Palm Springs (directly across the street from the Biltmore Condos on the corner of Camino Real.) and now they have expanded their original location at Alejo and Palm Canyon Drive.  Recent opening Cheekys', LuLu's and The Lobster Company. The ACE hotel has their restaurant Kings Highway and recently the Smoketree Shopping center revamped the West end of their plaza into a restaurant hub with Giuseppe's, Native foods, PHO 533 and several others. Of course we can't overlook longtime favorites still going strong such as Spencers', Billy Reids', Wangs, Shermans' Deli and Ricks'. One thing is for certain you won't go hungry in Palm Springs
