Golden Isles is a picturesque, largely a condo community,
located in east Hallandale Beach. Nestled amid canals and tucked against the
Intracoastal Waterway, Golden Isles boasts a great SE Florida, where residents
enjoy sophisticated living in luxury homes, security within the protected
waterfront, and convenience to the water from their own backyards.
Hallandale Beach is a coastal
city in Broward County with about 40,000 residents located in between Miami to
its south, Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood to its north, and Pembroke Park to its
west. It is best known for being the home of Gulfstream Park Racing and Casino,
a greyhound racing track that hosts the World Classic.
Like other areas along the
coast, Hallandale is known for its beautiful beaches, golf courses, and close
proximity to recreational opportunities. In addition to Gulfstream Park Racing
and Casino, it is also home to the Village at Gulfstream Park, which besides
the popular casino and Racetrack, boasts fabulous shopping and dining venues,

Aside from the beach, the
biggest attraction within its borders is Gulfstream Park Racing and Casino.
Some popular recreational opportunities are located close by, such as Oleta
River State Park, a 1,043-acre urban park with a mangrove forest, fishing,
kayaking, biking, and camping. Greynolds Park offers camping golfing, hiking,
and kayaking. For the adventurous kind, Haulover Park features South Florida's
only clothing-optional beach.
Transportation:
Broward County Transit
provides bus service within Hallandale Beach and to nearby Aventura and the
Metro-Bus Metro Transit Agency provides service to some areas in Miami, but the
service isn't particularly convenient or quick. However, Hallandale Beach is
about a half-hour drive from both Fort Lauderdale and Miami via Interstate 95, except
during rush hour when it will take you longer. It is also conveniently located
to both Fort Lauderdale International Airport and Miami International Airport.

for grades K-5, South Broward Montessori Charter School for K-5, and Hallandale
High School for grades 9-12. A number of private schools are located there,
including Florida School of Excellence for 10-12, Back to Basics Military

and Masoret Yehudit for pre-K-1.
