We love Enterprise for its small-town home feel. We have amazing neighbors that make it great for having kids. We love the parades and festivals. The inner circle has all the best shops. Our neighborhood is great for the schools we live close to. We live by Holly Hill Elementary, a sought after elementary. We don’t live far from Dauphin middle school; we also live close to the Enterprise high school. People who live out of the high school boundaries pay $500 a year per student to attend. Also, for the elementary, the bus stop is just across the street. We love to eat at Mellow Mushroom. It is delicious pizza and wings, and just down the street. Groceries stores are plentiful here. We love to shop at Publix, but if we want a quick trip to the store for little things, we will take a quick trip to Grocery Advantage since it is only a couple minute drive. When we bought this property, we were drawn to the large yard and how the house is set nearly in the middle. We have loved making smores in the backyard as we BBQ and have friends over. One of the neat things we found out about the middle school football team is that one of the coaches has a son that plays in the NFL. He has stopped in the school and visited the kids at times. We loved the Johnny Henderson Park. It has play equipment, baseball fields and is just beautiful to walk the loop that they have around the park. We have also truly enjoyed being only an hour and a half from our favorite beach in Destin Florida, though there are many beaches and lakes to enjoy. There is also some great hiking and sightseeing at the mini–Grand Canyon in Georgia. We did find out after living here a while that you can pay the same amount on your electric monthly to avoid the monthly fluctuation. That is a neat and worthwhile feature for Alabama Power. ​ We love working with our hands and putting our hearts into everything we do. Remodeling and updating our home, was no exception. We have spent plenty of time and thoughtful consideration in making this a dream home. The military decided it is time for us to move to our next chapter, however, we look forward to someone enjoying our little labor of love as much as we have.
