                Thanks so much for viewing our home.  We'll be sad to leave, but our needs have changed.  There are two things that we love most about this home, the vibrant location and maintenance-free home ownership.  We hope that you appreciate the attention to detail, like the new backsplash and the updated appliances.  And it’s perfectly clean underneath and behind the refrigerator. 

                Being steps away from the heart of Uptown, it's really great to have excellent dining choices like Fuji Ya and the nearby services like boutique shopping and the Lagoon Theater.  The Greenway and Soo Line Community garden are simply wonderful in the warmer months.  I never thought much of the garden before I moved in, but now seeing how it's so central to the neighborhood and bringing people together, I realize what a wonderful amenity it really is.  Back-door access to the Greenway means easy biking and walking to any major pathway.

                The maintenance-free benefits of this house are huge for us! The heating system is rock-solid and all of the plumbing on the first floor makes access to mechanicals very easy.  The newer siding and windows have really improved energy efficiency and of course this means no exterior painting. 

                The best maintenance-free aspect is the yard.  Other than mowing, the landscaping has sturdy rocks with landscape cloth underneath and perennial plants that hold up to forgotten watering and hot days.  The Snowy Mountain Ash out front is gorgeous in the fall (not susceptible to emerald ash borer), and the Cherry Tree on the side makes rich red cherries that I've always reduced into a jam.  The anchor of the backyard, a Red Maple Tree, is the perfect contrast to the sage green color of the house and garage.  In early Spring, the crimson bloomed Peonies along the side are stunning.

                One side note, the building next door is a local artist and sculptor.  He's extremely quiet, and you won't even notices that he's there.  That is unless you need help with something and have already made friends.  There is little foot traffic other than Stuart sculpting away.  This is partly why this corner of the block feels so quiet, although it's so close to the Uptown buzz.  This house has never looked better, and thanks again for viewing our home.
