With both beach access via the sand roads & sound access via the canal system Carova Beach is a truly secluded get-a-way bordering up against False Cape State Park in Virginia to the North, the Atlantic Ocean to the East,  Knotts Island Bay to the West, and having Currituck National Wildlife Refuge just a couple of miles to the South.
