TIN CAN -  Rare Eco-Friendly Steel Home

The galley-style kitchen has a clean, commercial feel about it with industrial lighting, steel shelving and butcher block and stainless-steel countertops. A unique, fully-functional range hood was crafted from a metal pail! A stained glass insert over the fridge provides natural light to the master bathroom. 

The long-range mountain views are spectacular -- facing due east with scenes of the Clinch River gap. The sunrise is breathtaking, especially in winter.

The unique arch design of the Tin Can creates enormous strength -- strong enough to withstand even the highest wind and snow loads. There is never a need for a new roof and never a need to paint. Inherently eco-friendly the structure is made from 80 percent recycled materials. The outside is coated with a product that encourages energy efficiency due to its high heat reflectively. Windows and doors are insulated double-pane, low-e glass.

The property has full RV hookups, and a flat, gravel parking area large enough for a 30 ft. or so trailer or RV.
