The Vineyards is a residential subdivision located in NE Tallahassee out off of Mahan Drive several miles East of Capital Circle NE. The neighborhood was established in the 1980's and is comprised of large homes on lots ranging in size from 1 to 4 acres. The neighborhood is zoned for Buck Lake Elementary School, Swift Creek Middle School and Lincoln High School. City of Tallahassee provides electricity to this neighborhood, and the homes in the neighborhood have wells for water and septic tanks for sewer. The neighborhood gets it's name from a nearby Vineyard which part of this neighborhood backs up to. Nearby stores include Publix, Wal-Mart, and Costco. Nearby Parks include J.R. Alford Greenway and Tom Brown Park. The Vineyards is also close to CMX theaters, the new Amazon Facility, I-10, and only a 15 minute drive to downtown Tallahassee and a 30 minute drive to downtown Monticello.
