The City of Sunrise is located in western Broward County, about 6 miles west of Ft. Lauderdale and easily accessible via the interstate and the Sawgrass Expressway.

Home to 90,000 plus residents, Sunrise is 22 square miles in area, and is adjacent to the Everglades Conservation Area. Previously called Sunrise Golf Village, the community offers a mix of single family homes and condominiums surrounding golf courses.
