Neighborhood Info
Because of Glen Park's small size and mom and pop stores, restaurants, and saloons, the neighborhood is often described as having a village atmosphere. The neighborhood has been served by a branch of the San Francisco Public Library since 1927. A new multi-use, urban infill project opened in 2006, in the heart of the village, complete with 15 condos and a natural foods grocery, Canyon Market. A new location for the branch public library completed the complex, opening in late 2007.[3] Interstate 280 and the Glen Park BART station are both located at the southern edge of the neighborhood. Glen Park is served by the Muni bus lines 23, 35, 36, 44 and 52 plus the J Church Muni Metro line.
