Carolina Cove on Lake Livingston
Carolina Cove is a homes only subdivision (no mobile homes), located on the northern end of Lake Livingston. It sits in Walker County (just barely). It is 4 miles from San Jacinto County and 11 miles from Trinity County. By water, you are next door neighbors to both counties. You can almost skip a stone to them.
My favorite thing about the subdivision is that they own their own roads. So (IN THE SUBDIVISION) you can ride golf carts, 4 wheelers, mini bikes, etc.. I raised 2 boys in this subdivision. It was AWESOME!
What does that mean to you? Well... it means you are around the corner from Carolina Creek and that is GREAT fishing. You are right off of Lake Livingston's I-45 (the Trinity River). And that means GREAT water sports. PLUS, you the river is marked all the way to the Trinity River Bridge in Riverside and the 190 bridge at Onalaska. So you can get where you want to go on Lake Livingston!
You are 4 miles to Riverside (Population 510). There you will find 3 gas stations, a bank, Dollar General, a meat market, and Daisy's Diner --> famous for great food, friendly service, and Tuesday Night Karaoke!
