The Baumgardner Ranch: This 160 +/- deeded acre ranch is located in the back country of Central California near the Sequoia National Forest,  an unincorporated community known as Caliente located in Kern County.  This community is just 22 miles east-southeast of Bakersfield, CA  and 2.2 hours north of Los Angeles.

The terrain consists of gently sloping to grassy large rolling hills, rough draws, boulders, and rock outcropping with the  30 x 30 deck overlooking Havilah Valley you will surely find plenty of serene beauty, and majestic views.  This truly is a haven for rest and restoration of the soul that will embrace you with tranquil peacefulness and breathtaking views in every direction.

This Mountain Ranch is an excellent piece of high-country heaven with roads throughout the property and plenty of wildlife for the avid hunter such as deer, bear, rabbit and variety of birds including quail and dove. This is a D-9 hunting zone that opens to BLM land on 3 sides. It offers plenty space to roam and enjoy some privacy.

The water on the ranch is provided by the all year around spring that has a strong history of consistently running even through the driest years. There are 2 holding tanks, and gas pump. With gravity feed this spring serves approximately 25x25x5 concrete pool for your enjoyment, also included are (2)  cargo box storage containers. An RV with a deck to kick back and enjoy the wildlife.
