of several canals and water inlets. It is nicknamed the "Venice of
America". The Waterway has become the most convenient way to tour Fort
Lauderdale. Water taxis in Fort Lauderdale provide a unique and beautiful way
for tourists to see the city. They can make fourteen stops up and down the Intracoastal
Waterway in an hour and a half. Water taxis can hold 200 people and have
cabins, full liquor bars and restrooms. The Intracoastal Waterway network can
also be used to get to Hollywood Beach in Florida. The Hollywood Beach area
includes an extensive and popular Boardwalk as well as numerous dockside
eateries. Water taxis on the Waterway also have adult and child day passes as
well as family packages.
