Lexington Hills is a desirable neighborhood adjacent to the Empire Ranch community. Having been built in the late ‘80s and early ‘90s, Lexington Hills is a more established neighborhood, with slightly larger lots and mature trees, there's an abundance of shade and lush surroundings. Several of the streets offer expansive views, from the Sierra Nevada snow-peaked mountains to downtown Sacramento and the Central Valley beyond.

There are numerous schools in the vicinity, with Oak Chan Elementary situated somewhat in the middle of the neighborhood. Several mini parks are sprinkled throughout the neighborhood, along with FIDO Field Dog Park, Cummings Family Skate Park, and Folsom Kids Play Park (aka Castle Park).
