Fair Ridge, a community of 462 luxury townhouses spread out across 15
private landscaped streets, is located in Fairfax County about one mile
northwest of the junction of Route 50 and Interstate 66 (take exit 57-B
West). Our community is divided into two sections, north and south of
Monument Drive, and consists of 232 garaged units and 230 non-garaged
units.
TRANSPORTATION. With easy access to Route 50 and
Interstate 66 Fair Ridge is convenient to work and play and lots of
activities in between. Our residents don’t even have to drive if they
don’t want to because we are served by the FAIRFAX CONNECTOR bus system
for quick trips to the Vienna Metro Station and beyond. Fair Ridge is
served by Fairfax Connector Routes 622, 621, 650, 651, and 652.
Additional Fairfax Connector and Metro Bus routes serve area residents
from the Fairfax County Government Center and Fair Oaks Mall. And we are
just 12 miles from Washington Dulles International Airport or about 20
miles from Ronald Reagan National Airport (http://www.metwashairports.com/default.htm).
SHOPPING & ENTERTAINMENT. Both shopping and entertainment are located nearby in Fairfax Towne Centre, Pender Village Center, Fair Oaks Mall, Fairfax Corner, and Fair Lakes Shopping Center. These centers have grocery and department stores, movie theaters, restaurants, specialty shops and more.
RECREATION. Our residents also have plenty of choices
for recreation in the immediate neighborhood. We have an outdoor
swimming pool that is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day, a Club House
that can be rented for parties, and tennis courts near Monument Drive.
We also have playgrounds for our younger residents to enjoy. Our
community is located next to Fair Ridge County Park which has
basketball, tennis, jogging and exercising facilities. The Fairfax
County Parks Department also has many facilities available to county
residents, including nature centers, golf courses, REC centers,
miniature golf, water parks, historic sites, lakes, etc.
HISTORY. The Ox Hill Battlefield Park,
a Civil War historic site commemorating the Battle of Chantilly, is a
short walk away on Monument Drive. Memorials for two Civil War Generals
are located in this park adjacent to our community.
COMMUNITY SERVICES. Fair Ridge is also close to essential services. Both the Fair Oaks Volunteer Fire & Rescue
and Fairfax County Police are located less than a mile from our
community on Route 50. The Fairfax County Government Center is just 2
miles away right off of Monument Drive on Government Center Parkway.
Inova Fair Oaks Hospital is less than 3 miles away. We are close to the
Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) office located in Fair Oaks Mall. And
the Chantilly Regional Library, a full-service regional library, is
just 3 miles away.
EDUCATION. Our younger student residents can attend
Fairfax County Public Schools, one of the top ranked school systems in
the nation. And our older student residents have numerous educational
choices as well. Fair Ridge is convenient to the main campus of George
Mason University and several campuses of Northern Virginia Community
College. Virginia Tech and University of Virginia also have campuses in
nearby Falls Church.
MISCELLANEOUS. And don't think that we’ve left our
four footed residents out. The FRCA provides several pet stations around
the community for the convenience of our residents with dogs.
