The cabin is Approx. 1302 sq. ft. 2 bedrooms on the main floor with full bathroom. The interior of cabin is knotty pine. Flooring is tile. There is a full bathroom on the main level and a private bathroom in the attached garage.    The screened-in porch to the back of the cabin has views of the river..
There are views of the Ouachita Mountains from the property...the terrain of the 136 acres is level...there is pastureland with scattered timber & pond..
The land is located in an area that experiences flooding.  Scott County does not participate in the Federal Flood Insurance Program and thus there are no flood maps available.  Private flood insurance is available through local agents.  The house did get water inside on May 31, 2013, and March 18, 2008.  All flood damage has been repaired.  The 2013 event was the result of a freak storm that dropped 12-14 inches of rain within two hours about 15 miles upstream.  For the month of May, 2015, we received 25+ inches of rain, setting an all-time record for rainfall in May.  The house did not flood at any time this year.
There is a large 2 level barn...and a large hay barn...there is also loafing shed in the pasture.
This is a truly unique, beauty of a place...Call Frank Lay for showing..479-414-4402
