Neigborhood Info
The street view from this property is very pleasant. It is an older neighborhood tucked around a couple corners from Poplar and Birch. Everyone's landscaping is tastefully done and fairly mature.
Heritage Park is nearby as well as the Boys and Girls Club. Access to I-5 is very easy and will easily take you southward to Mountlake Terrace, Shoreline and into Seattle. Northward, the 405 access point is a very short distance and will take you to Redmond, Kirkland and Bellevue. Everett is very close by as well as Mukilteo, Meadowdale, Brier and Alderwood.
This is very close to the hub that is Lynnwood. From the newly built Lynnwood Event center, one of the biggest malls located at Alderwood Mall, all manner of great restaurants, this is the place to be. Heading west on 196th will take you down into Edmonds and the Edmonds bowl. The Edmonds ferry is located there and the views are terrific! The sunsets over Puget Sound and the Olympic Peninsula are spectacular.
Heading east on 196th, the road becomes Filbert and winds its way to Canyon Park. Again, another great spot to jump onto I-405 and the land of Microsoft. The Bothell Everett Highway intersect Filbert at Canyon Park. Going northward from the point will take you through the Mays Pond area as well as Mill Creek. Mill Creek has recently rebuilt their towncenter. It is wonderfully fun to explore. Mill Creek also has a certain amount of prestige for higher end living. The same is true of Edmonds because of the views. The Bothell Everett Hwy will take you to Silver Lake and Everett and then onto I-5.
