Neigborhood Info
This condo is tucked in the back of Garden Grove Condominiums where it is quiet and there is low traffic. Access is off of 112th St SW just east of Boeing Employees Credit Union (BECU). It is a very easy manner for someone to take 112th and go through the Paine Field area to get to Airport Road and slide right into Boeing down Airport Road. Everett Mall is close by as well as all the great Mukilteo schools such as Mariner High School. Taking 112th will take you over I-5 into the Silver Lake Area and onward through Silver Firs, Seattle Hill and into Snohomish.
Other neighborhoods near by are Merrill Creek, the higher end housing in Mukilteo, Harbour Point, Possession Point and Picnic Point. Mukilteo communites are closer to Puget Sound and offers a certain amount of prestige. Older neighborhoods in Everett include the Madison area, Pinehurst and of course, downtown Everett.
Everett is getting better all the time! We have the AquaSox minor baseball team which feeds the Mariner franchise as well as our hockey team, the Silvertips. We have a brand new event center, a great train station and a marina. The US Navy is stationed here as well.
We have beautiful views that are easily accessible from terrific sunsets over the water and Olympic Peninsula to sunrises over the Cascade Mountains. If you want the thrill of city traffic, Seattle is 20-30 minutes away and escaping northward to Mount Vernon or Bellingham and Canada via I-5 is easy as well as heading east on Hwy 2 and going over Stevens Pass into Leavenworth and eastern Washington. To the west, we have water...Puget Sound and if you are into boating and fishing, this is a great place to be!!
