From here you are able to move to many areas of the home, immediately turning left will take us to the dining room at the end of this thirty foot long hallway; to the right we pass a twenty foot floor to ceiling bookcase, before coming to the Master bedroom on the left and an additional bedroom and full bath straight ahead; moving forward in the foyer we can turn left into the living room or right into the trophy room.Let’s walk down the hallway toward the dining room, walking along here the large windows provide both full light as well as glances of different aspects of the landscaping. At the end of the hall you will notice several unique items; to your immediate right is a wonderful flowing staircase leading to the second level; in front and to the right is a powder room that is decorated to match the tone of this home; to the left of this is an entrance to the kitchen mini-hall where a wonderful storage area comes just before a walk-in pantry; finally straight ahead is the dining room which is a comfortable 16 x 14, here you can entertain in style with plenty of light and comfort.Through the doorway to the right is the kitchen, upon entering you are struck with the volume of cabinets that line the left wall from the entrance to the windows in the breakfast area. On the immediate right are the refrigerator and freezer. Just beyond this is the breakfast area as described above.Turning to the right from the breakfast area we pass into the butler’s pantry, with even more wonderful cabinet storage, and wine cooler. This leads us into the living room (16 x 23) with its leather-look custom designed wood mantel surrounding a wood burning fireplace; the walls are painted grass cloth, while the accent molding provides a distinctive detail to this comfortable first floor gathering place.From here we can move out to the rear of the property or reenter the foyer where directly across we find the trophy room where the walls are upholstered burlap with old brass nail head detailing, with a glazed ceiling of a soft gray blue; the gas fireplace is marble with a European walnut mantel; hardwood floors and built-in book cases make this Ralph Lauren inspired room truly unique. Moving down the right hallway we admire the wonderful bookcase as we notice the alcove formed by one of the front windows where seated we could relax with our favorite book or just admire the beauty of the grounds that roll out before us. Heading to the end of the hall and entering the second bedroom with its full bath, we see how large it is, once again plenty of light to capture the essence of the entire property.The master bedroom which is next on our tour is truly a unique experience. Walking through the door on the left is a “His & Her” set of closets; across from this is a large walk-in closet for even more storage. Just past the closet set is a unique fireplace, purchased in France the mantel is hand carved wood which has been glazed a soft washed gray with antique gold highlighting to match the detailing of the cabinetry found around the vanities. In the master bath are matching vanities with large mirrors, leading from here to the left is the enclosed shower room and to the right is the toilet room; looking straight ahead, we pause, for here before us is opulence in the design of a whirlpool tub, walking down a few steps to reach this area we find the entire area surrounded by windows covered with Jamaican wood shutters and overhead is an antique chandelier, opening the shutters reveals unmatched views of the lake, the Oak trees and the landscaping, what a way to relax.Looking out onto the water from the rear of the property is an oversized in-ground pool with a lions head fountain to enhance the romance of the entire pool area. Looking across the yard you are surprised to see several large oaks, one has a two level tree house that adds additional charm. Tucked under the back of the house is a wet bar with seating for your guest or have them sit on the veranda which is just off the entertainment room.
