For Sale or For Rent at $3100/monthAccording to the Belchertown Historical Society's walking tour of Belchertown's Historic District, "Asa Woods built the Edwin Bridgeman home at 55 Main St. in 1815-1819. It is a Greek Revival style with such classical features as corner pilasters, a pediment, and monumental dimensions. Wright Bridgeman, Sr., his son Wright Jr. Jr., and grandson Edwin Ruthven Bridgman each owned the home in succession. Wright Jr., who in 1869 also moved a cigar business there, ran a store to the south of the house on the premises. The store disappeared years ago."
