Chattahoochee Hills (formerly Chattahoochee Hill Country) is a city in south Fulton County, Georgia. It's the best kept secret in the county although it was incorporated in 2007. Some may recognize the City as being the place where Serenbe is located where you can live, shop at unique stores or dine at their restaurants. But other residents and visitors alike are attracted to the City because they can become lost in nature. There are 4 parks to be enjoyed and lots of beautiful land to be admired with 37,500 or so acres. With only around 3,200 residents, it's a stark contrast from the usual population you see in other metro areas and there are no city lights, tall buildings, or traffic. The rural character of Chatt Hills has mostly been unchanged. Its relatively undeveloped land is a beacon for people wanting to put the rat race behind them. However, its prime location can put you back in the city as Hartsfield International Airport is only about 30 mins north Interstate 85. Being in the Atlanta metro area, Chatt Hills is conveniently located to everything, as Newnan, Carrollton, Douglasville, and Atlanta are within a quick drive. It is hard to believe a City like Chattahoochee Hills is located such a short distance away from large metro areas. It is a hidden gem. Once you see the beautiful trees and travel down the country roads, there will be no other place you'll want to live.
