Although the town of Bordentown City NJ hosts a rich history, it is also a modern community with much to offer residents and visitors alike. Situated at the northern tip of Burlington County and bordering Mercer County, it is at the crossroads of the American Revolution. Bordentown is located at the confluence of the Delaware River, Blacks Creek and Crosswicks Creek. The latter is the border between Burlington and Mercer Counties.  Bordentown City was originally incorporated as a borough by an Act of the New Jersey Legislature on December 9, 1825, from portions within Chesterfield Township. • Joseph Lawrence Recreational Facility/Veterans Memorial Park, Ward Avenue,

• Terry Field, West Constitution Drive.

These parks provide a wide array of recreational activities to enjoy.
