Merryall, New Milford, Connecticut. The section of New Milford known as Merryall is set in the northern part of New Milford, between Kent and New Preston, and has long been an extremely popular section of town. The Merryall section of New Milford was given its name by a group of men who were surveying the area between 1776 and 1731, it is not quite clear.
